Hello fellow Phoenix!
I am Dr. Erin Vacchio, and I am so excited for the 2023-24 school year at Acceleration East High School! We have planned for a wonderful school year ahead, filled with a high focus on academics, lots of great involvement opportunities, and exciting events.
This year we will continue to work hard to maintain the student-centered focus at Acceleration East while building new traditions and a stronger sense of community for our students. For our current and future students, we are committed to providing you with an inclusive, supportive, and tailored education to meet your postsecondary goals. For our parents, we will work tirelessly for your children to ensure a safe, wholesome, and caring approach to their education. We will continue to work with our many partners to provide students the opportunity to participate in relevant coursework, and dual enrollment opportunities through Orange Technical College, Valencia College, University of Central Florida, or the University of Florida.
This is an exciting time to be a Phoenix. We are all truly excited for what this year will bring. I encourage all students, families, and community partners to get involved in your school. If you can volunteer for the day, or an hour or provide a service, we can use your support. Students, be involved in your school; be a role model for those coming behind you, and take advantage of all that your school can provide.
